Wingspan looks to be around 20 feet. Wings flap 8 times. Very loud flap indicates a very large birdKate and Jack hear another weird noise, turn and look to see a whisp of ?smoke' move from their left to right. Locke comes a little late. Did he see it too? He looks in the same direction of Kate and Jack.Birds sound, monster appears. Up roots 2 trees at first, total of 5.Jack gently takes off his backpack, Kate does not. Pretty obvious he has the dynamite, not KateKate, Jack, and Hurley run. Locke stands his ground. Curiosity gets him. Wants to see it again?He stops and a tree is uprooted right next to him. Right side. Knocks him down. As the monster gets closer we hear clickety sounds. Locke looks terrified. Similar to flushing your prey towards a bigger trap. Dogs and bird huntingThing that grabs Locke is round and looks similar to a vine. A large log type thing, possibly filled with a fuel of sorts, rest on top of a tripod of sticks.No foot prints or tracks are visible leading to the fireSayid points the gun at nothing, seems ready to use it. Did the voices mess with him a bit?Danielle was expecting the others to be there but they weren't. Mike and Walt, Marshal putting cuffs on Kate, Sayid is looking at pictures of Nadia. Shannon searches frantically for her inhaler. Boone casually hands it to her. She smiles at him, he does not smile back. Hurley finally makes it on board. He is all sweaty. He looks at Walt and gives him a thumbs up. Walt looks back at him and smiles. His smile disappears when Mike notices he was looking at Hurley. Walt goes back to his game. Hurley sits next to Asian guy, pulls out the comic book Walt was reading. Picture of Polar bear is seen. Artz gets up from his seat and helps Claire with placing her baggage in the overhead compartmentJack and Locke exchange glances, Locke smiles. Locke stares at Jack the whole time, Jack smiles backJack has a window seat.Back at the hatch. The door is busted. Jack and Locke remove it. Looking into it a ladder is seen that only seems to reach a few feet. Tunnel opening is a very long way down. Jack and Locke look at each other in a ?job is done' sort of way.Only Jack and Locke stand on the hatch to open door.The end
