Pink ranger flipped away from 4 guys with no apparent needles, 5th guy comes in from the right 8 guys from the other side close in on hero. Total of 8 guys, give or take. Only 4 have needles on hands I was wondering if the scene in this show is a foreshadowing of the others coming down to take the Lostaways away. Will Jack stop seeing his dad now? Sawyer can tell this news really upsets Jack. Sawyer probably assumes this kind of reaction is because Jacks daddy may be dead and never got a chance to call him and tell him all the things Sawyer is now telling him Says ?something tells me he never got around to making that call'. A storm is heard rumbling in the background Danielle tells everyone they are at the same place where her team got infected and eventually died. None of the away team seemed to concerned about this. Leslie wants to now leave when he hears about the lost arm. New info to him. Thunder grows stronger as they enter the dark territory ?No, no, no...this one goes there, that one goes there'- Mike talking to Jin. Another Star Wars reference? Similar to Han talking to Chewie as they are trying to escape Hoth as the imperial troops arrive. Back to the dark territory, now it is pouring rain. Nice weather back on the beach. Monster arrives. Everyone fees except Locke and Hurley. Hurley places a lot of trust in Locke. Is it because he knows if he ran he would get cramps? Does Locke know this too? Danielle takes everyone else, except Leslie, into a tree we are all familiar with Locke stands his ground with monster. Tells Hurley not to move. Is the monsters vision based on motion? ?Just be still' -Locke to Hurley Rain stops once the monster leaves. Now it is just a drizzle. I noticed the monster didn't arrive until they had entered the dark territory. Did they trip something to trigger it to go look for intruders? Danielle says it is a security system for the island. She has known about this for a while. She said there are no such things as monsters. So it isn't a monster. Definitely mechanical though. Danielle and Locke meet on the road. Does Danielle have respect or skepticism for Locke after he ?stood up' to the monster? Interesting scene. Hurley messes Leslies last name 3 times total Walt gives Vincent to Shannon. Opens up a little. Tells her he is a good listener ?Vincent took care of me when my mom dies' - Walt. Walt telling Shannon of his moms death gets a reaction from Shannon. ?And nobody would talk to me. They'd pretend like nothing happened. So I would talk to Vincent. You could talk to him about Boone if you want.' - Walt Very interesting comment from Walt. Everyone didn't talk to him after his mom died. Why? Isn't the child one of the first you try and comfort? Did Brian have anything to do with this muted reaction? Why the conspiracy? Does Walt think he killed his mom at the time?In Airport, announcement overheard is ?flight 338 to Fiji will be delayed. This is one of the first direct contact the Lostaways have with each other. Shannon is reading/doing a ?Super Word Seek Puzzles' book. Did we ever see Sawyer with this book? It has a 25 mile radius. Sayid has been taking things from the Beachcraft to help him build. Sayid's watch reads 10:15 The Black Rock is a ship. Didn't see that coming. It is marooned well in the islands interior. Was this the first ever ship to the island? Or the one that got the ball rolling? Leslie is back in last place My observations of the ship: It's a small ship. Appears to not have a captain's quarters in the rear. Just the name of the boat above the rear rudder. Rudder is connected by 3 visible metal hinges. Cliffs look to be on the right hand side of the ship. 3 masts remain standing. One mast looks to have snapped off and is leaning against the boat. Was this the main mast making it 4 masts total? Is the broken mast an omen for those who try and escape the island? Also regarding the first mast on the raft that was broken. There appear to be 2 windows on the left side of the ship. Too small to be cannon windows. Was this not a defendable ship? Pleasure ship perhaps? The windows are too close to the deck to have been below deck.In the airport, the intercom in the back says ?...first three, 018, flight 2599...'. More than likely unimportant but what the heck. Rude woman behind Sun criticizes their marriage The man mentions how ?they' have a 20 times lower divorce rate. Does he know they are Korean? Or is he just lumping all Asians into s single stat? He tells her he is going to save her. Similar to what Jack told Boone. Jin tells her he is sorry. The bond between the two of them is still strong Jin also tells Sun to stay with Jack. Jin seems to trust Jack. Suns watch reads 11:15. One hour has passed since Sayid gave Mike the radio stuff. When is the launch time? Noon? Couldn't read anyone's watch at time of launch Shannon is the last one to give Charlie a letter Mike says goodbye to Scott/Steve. Hugs him. Jin kisses the baby and holds its right hand Sawyer is standing in the back, scanning the beach for Kate. She was probably the one person he genuinely wanted to say goodbye to wasn't there Walt says goodbye to Vincent twice from the raft. Vincent leaves Shannon and tries to swim to Walt. Walt tells Vincent to ?stay' once. Then has to tell him to go back 3 times. Final time he says it sounds a nit more assertive. Vincent finally listens. Is this just a case of a dog listening to his owner? Or is this a subtle showcase of Walt's ?powers'? The raft heads west around the island. Sawyer mans the main sail. Everyone says goodbye.
