I have not really gone anywhere with these, just wanted to get them out there before I forgot about them. Ok, Juliet was recruited, and really wants to leave the island...suggests that she is being held there by Ben Juliet was recruited by a guy from the research company (name escapes me at the moment) that was aware that she would be on the island (at least I took it that way from the conversation) Ethan was off the island and participated in the recruiting of Juliet.....side note......Ethan was involved in recruiting a fertility specialist, and was envolved in whatever was going to be done with pregnant Claire Ethan was at sick sister's place and, I'm only assuming here, posing as a home health care worker.....if this is the case, then with what we have seen so far, Ethan could have had actual medical training. Calvin was recruited, but not in the same way that Juliet was, nor for the same purpose. We have seen that the others moved freely in the outside world, and were able to gather vast information on prospective recruits ...so now the file that they had on Jack makes more sense. So, after much research, why Juliet and not Jack? Maybe because Jack got married? Does this mean that "Jacob's list" may not have anything to do with thepresent taking of Jack, Kate, and Sawyer...but a much earlier mission to recruit briliant physicians? And if they so far have only recruited those in the medical field, or lab rats to experiment on...then why Kate and Sawyer? Where the "lab rats"(like Calvin) even part of the same group as Ben, or are they just coexisting on the same island under some sort of understanding? The others seem to refer to those that are part of their camp by first names, and those that are not by last names. (Ben, Juliet, Danny, Austin, Ford, Shepard) This episode really made me stop and wonder just how many more others are there against their will, just desperately trying to earn their way home as well?http://community.livejournal.com/pondering_lost/107776.html#cutid1
