Upon first viewing, this episode can be quite confusing, so I watched again for the subtle stuff. In Claire's memories: So, what we see is that during the time that Claire was taken, she was being kept in another bunker of sorts. This one is set up like a medical facility. She was not brutally kidnapped, but tricked and manipulated. She was held in the bunker and given "vaccine" for her baby. She was told that Charlie was released back to the camp. She was asked to volunteer to give them her baby to raise. She was let go by a girl that we are to assume was Danielle's Alex. We see a nursery set up for a baby. We see "Zeke" clean shaved and scolding Ethan for not following orders. In the present: We saw the remains of the nursery. We saw lockers with costuming gear for "Zeke" We saw the fridge that the "vaccine" was kept in. My thoughts: There were several things that I picked up on, that could suggest that we may not be able to trust all of what Claire "remembered". First off, I do not think for a moment that the shots she was getting we purely vaccine, vaccine does not make you drunk......but why take the risk of injecting it straight to the belly? We saw the same crib and mobile in the nursery that we saw in Claire's first "nightmare". During the time of Claire's attack at the caves, we see her saying that "he" was doing something to the baby. That "he" put something in her belly...in the same place that she was getting the injections in the bunker. Now this could mean that Claire had received injections of this unknown medication before the time of the kidnapping, or it could be that she is not remembering things as they really happened. Remember what Libby said? She could be filling in the gaps with other memories, or even in her drugged state, could be infusing her real memories with items and faces from dreams and other times. If the drug was causing hallucinations, that could explain her seeing the same crib and mobile in the bunker as she saw in her nightmare...this could explain even her own confusion at seeing it. This could also explain the way that she remembers her talk with Ethan about giving them the baby and being sure......this was almost exactly what was said during her office visit to sign the baby over to the adoptive parents. After she is released, she seems to have lost track again because when she comes to, she starts talking to Ethan again as if she didn't remember that it was a girl that took her out. I'm not saying that these things did not happen, I'm just pointing out that except for the things we saw in the present, I'm not sure how much we can trust as factual accounts of what really happened. Most of it was triggered from conversation, and could be twisted a little and confused with things that have been said both before and after the fact. If the others know of this bunker, and are using items that are marked with the same Dharma logos with great confidence...it is possible that they also know all about the bunker with the button, as well as any other bunkers. I mean, if there was all of that equipment down there (and for some time too if the markings on the wall are any indication), it had to go somewhere when they left. But why strip, trash and abandon this bunker, yet leave your costumes behind? I'm trying to figure a loose time line here, but it seems that the costumes were just recently used (during the "line in the sand" talks between "Zeke" and our boys that went after Michael)...about a week ago. Claire was taken about 6 weeks ago. We saw the wall shadows of the items in the nursery, so that means that they were there at some point, but would have had to have been there long before preparations for Claire's baby, because they left marks on the walls..........but did that bunker really look like it would have been a pristine medical facility only 6 weeks ago? (the way that Claire remembers it)What I saw looked to have been what was left over after moving on. Packing boxes, debris on the floors, the sink and fridge both knocked over, lights broken...and not one piece of equipment. Just the rocking chair and the bootie. (which I also have doubts that she made...we never saw the knitting needles, nor the yarn, just her poking at it with what looked to be one crochet hook and humming) I also want to clear up the misconception that Claire was getting the same meds that Desmond was getting...there were lots of vials in that fridge, and it looked to be that there were many different drugs...and they all had the "numbers" and the logo. On to other topics now. Henry is clever. Locke is frustrated. Eko is wise and repentant. Sawyer can care. Sun is afraid.
