I think he jumped. He was holding the necklace because it symbolized his shame. If he was pushed, it wasn't Sun that did it. I don't think that Sun had possession of the necklace at any time. I also think that Jae (in the words of Bill Clinton) did not have sexual relations with that woman. They were getting ready to get down to business when Sun backed out. Jae was under the impression that Jin was a stone cold killer that knew of his indiscretion with Sun.

The first time I watched I thought they hadn't yet done the nasty, but everyone else seemed so sure they'd been there done that and Sun was just ending the affair in general in the scene. When I watched the episode again I decided yeah ok, I can see it that way I guess. Now, Brax, you have me undecided. hehe
But since we know Sun is a lying little trollop and has been all her life........ *snort*
I'm undecided too about jump vs. push. I have a hard time accepting that in just that little bit of time between Jin leaving and getting back down to his car was enough for Jae to make such a decision. And to run to grab the pearls then hurl himself off the balcony......just not working for me.
Seems more likely to me that after Jin left maybe Jae had gotten the pearls to mourn his loss, and Sun's father's backup dude came in to finish the job. BUT then Daddy would know that Jin had not completed his task. And Daddy would probably be very upset and punish Jin in some way, right?? Although we don't know anything that happened after that.....

You could be right on the back-up guy doing the push, I just don't think that Sun had a hand in that. As far as whether or not Jae and Sun actually consumated the relationship, I don't know any guy that does his stuff then puts his pants back on while lying in bed to cuddle. I saw that scene as they where working their way to the point and Sun backed out before the final stage.

I never even considered Sun having anything to do with pushing him....if he was pushed. I had seen it mentioned somewhere else and couldn't figure out how anyone could even come up with that.....?
LOL about the pants. I noticed that too.
How long before the crash do you think this happened? Do you think this was the final straw, the thing that made Sun put her escape plan into action?
