Did anyone else catch that Echo misquoted the 23rd Psalm? He said, "though I walk through the shadow of the valley of death." In the Bible it is, "though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death." I don't think this has any significance to the plot but do think it is a basic mistake on the part of the producers. Or, perhaps they knowing changed the words to put shadow first because of the black cloud Echo confronted.

Depends which version of the Bible he was quoting from. IE the King James version is different from the New Revised Standard, which is different from the American Standard, etc. The passages are basically the same, but with slight variations in the wording, in an attempt to make the Bible easier to read and understand than the original translations.
