Well, it's that time of year. Training camp started this Sunday for the Washington Redskins And just like every other year, my expectations are high. Once in awhile, the team actually lives up to my expectations, but to be perfectly honest, I'm happy if they just beat Dallas . I'm looking forward to having another great defense and pretty good special teams, and am looking forward to possibly having a halfway decent offense. I hope there aren't too many downers this year like last year, but already on the first day of training camp, 2 defensive ends are out for the season. Now, picking up Jason Taylor within a couple of hours of loosing Daniels and Buzbee is a stroke of Vinnie Cerrato geneous. The focus on Dan Snyder going after big names ala Deon Sanders and Bruce Smith is a little much for me - the team hasn't been in that vein this year under newly named head man Vinny (GM for all intents and purposes). I'm willing to give him the benifit of the doubt for the time being. The fact that he got a big name to fill an immediate and valid need just speaks volumes to me. The eternal optimist is sitting here itching for the season to start. And did I mention - that we need to beat Dallas?
